About the release
Description
This is Jackton's first in-house single malt, distilled, matured and bottled at the Lowland distillery near Glasgow. It consists of whisky from bourbon, Pedro Ximénez, Amontillado and Oloroso casks, is bottled at 48.7%, is non-chill filtered and limited to 6,000 numbered bottles at £68. The first casks were filled in February 2020. Jackton is described as the first producer to once again distill, mature and bottle single malt in South Lanarkshire after more than 180 years.
