After six years of dedication, the wait is finally over.

For six years we have distilled, aged and refined our whisky. Now the time has come to open the bottles and share the result with the rest of the world. Therefore we invite you to the launch of Radius Distillery Whisky.

Come and experience the whole journey – from the first ideas and the first distillation to the whisky we have today.

Program

16.00 – Arrival at the Main Building

We meet at the Main Building, Oremandsgaard Allé 1.

16.15 – The whisky and the ideas behind it

Kristian Larsen will talk for 20 minutes about the whisky – and about why it turned out the way it did.

16.35 – Tasting in the lounges and the library

We'll hang out in the lounges and the library and taste the whiskies both at cask strength and the bottling strength we've chosen.

17.30 – Over to the distillery

We walk the 200 meters over to the distillery, where wagyu sausages made from the estate's own meat will be served.

18.00 – The cask loft

In smaller groups we'll go up to the cask loft and taste selected casks – whisky that has not yet been bottled.

19.00 – Thank you for coming

You can, of course, buy a bottle to take home that day.

Experience a truly special Highland Park tasting with Martin Markvardsen, who for more than 30 years has been one of the whisky industry's most prominent ambassadors. Taste seven impressive whiskies – including the exclusive 25- and 30-year-old bottlings.

We have gone to great lengths to create a tasting, with whisky for every taste, but which also shows what can be done when we start in the field and incorporate our natural surroundings and landscapes.

The recipe is the same as always. Seven of our best whiskies, 2 hours of online entertainment and lots of cozy atmosphere.

We are proud to invite you to a very special evening with guests from the independent bottlers behind Woodrow's of Edinburgh.
This evening it is the owners themselves – Megan Brown and Woody Tan – who will lead the tasting and take us into their world of single casks, cask geekery and uncompromising quality.
Woodrow's of Edinburgh is a relatively young name among the independent bottlers, but they have already earned a reputation for selecting only casks they themselves would be proud to have on their home bar. The philosophy is simple: If they don't love the whisky themselves, it will never be bottled.
At the same time they are known for their creative approach to cask ageing and finishes. At Woodrow's it's not about following a recipe – it's about finding the right cask that lifts the distillery's character and creates a whisky with personality.
At this tasting we will have the opportunity to taste six very different bottlings, ranging from elegant Highlands and powerful Islay whiskies to an impressive 34-year-old grain whisky.

Brave New Spirits "Brave" 10-year-old – First Fill Oloroso – 50.1%
An intense sherry-aged whisky with plenty of depth and character.

Young, fresh, and fruity Speyside whisky with lots of energy.

This evening we'll be joined by Megan and Woody, who are coming directly from Edinburgh to guide us through a very special tasting experience and share their passion, knowledge and stories from the world of whisky.

The evening features 8 carefully selected whisky drams as well as 3 surprise drams, where you'll have the opportunity to experience exciting flavor profiles, unique cask maturations and hear the stories behind each dram.

During the tasting you'll be taken on a journey through the world of whisky — from cask to glass — with a focus on craftsmanship, tradition and the small details that make each whisky truly special.

It will be an evening full of warmth, whisky nerding and big taste experiences — perfect for both the curious beginner and the seasoned whisky enthusiast.

We will not taste on an empty stomach. Therefore we begin the tasting with the dish of the day from Restaurant Romarin. You have the option to purchase beverages of your choice to accompany the meal (the restaurant's BYO policy unfortunately does not apply for this tasting).

One day. One purpose. The best whisky experience you'll have this year.

We start at 11 with a shared bus from Pakhuset Braunstein to our historic whisky warehouses at Vallø Castle — a place few get to visit. Here you walk among hundreds of oak casks, hear the story behind each one and taste whisky straight from the selected UNIKA casks. It's the kind of experience you can't just Google.

Back at Pakhuset a delicious Danish smørrebrød awaits by the waterfront, before we gather for the day's big moment: Premiere of this year's new Braunstein release. Only 125 bottles have been produced — and as a guest on the day you have the right to purchase before they are released for general sale. This is not a detail. It's the reason some people show up.

The rest of the afternoon is yours. The taproom is open with a large number of whiskies, specially selected for this day. A punch card for 5 tastings of these is included in the ticket — if you want more, extra punch cards (5 punches á 2 cl.) can be purchased on the day for 200 kr.

Everything is included in one ticket: round-trip bus transport, warehouse tour with cask tasting, Danish smørrebrød, pre-release tasting, punch card and a Glencairn whisky glass to take home.
