History
Rum Runners Rum Cake Factory is located at Bishops Landing on the Halifax Waterfront. Our legendary Rum Cake has tickled taste buds since 2004.
Production
We manufacture all products in our on-site bakery and use only all-natural local ingredients. Since day one, we have made our Original Rum Cake recipe. We also offer Chocolate Rum Cakes and Glen Breton Whisky Cakes. We can even customize gift baskets.
Products/Whisky Series
Our range includes Original Rum Cake, Chocolate Rum Cakes and Glen Breton Whisky Cakes. All Rum Runners cakes use real rum or whisky, bottled at Glenora Distilleries on Cape Breton Island, making it a true Nova Scotia product.
Visit/Experiences
Rum Runners Rum Cake Factory is located on the Halifax Boardwalk at Bishop’s Landing and offers a 'Delicious Piece of Nova Scotia History'. We also carry a selection of specialized Rum Running- and Prohibition-related merchandise, including glassware and apparel for Rum Runners in your life. The cake is packaged in a decorative tin and is available in our online store.
Philosophy
The cake is free of preservatives and vacuum-sealed for freshness and can remain unopened for up to three months. We use only natural local ingredients and are part of Nova Scotia history.
