History

Allied Blenders & Distillers (ABD) was founded in 1988 with the launch of their flagship brand, Officer’s Choice Whisky. Since then, the company has evolved to become India's largest independent spirits producer and the third-largest IMFL company in the country in terms of annual sales between 2014 and 2021.

Production

ABD uses modern production methods, including malting, mashing, fermentation, distillation, maturation, and bottling. They have a network of 9 own bottling plants and 1 distillery, as well as over 20 non-owned production facilities. Their whiskies are produced from a blend of Scotch malts and Indian grain spirits, ensuring high quality and a unique flavor profile.
