History
Reisetbauer Qualitätsbrand GmbH was founded in 1994 by Hans Reisetbauer and has since established itself as one of Austria's leading quality distillers. The company is noted for producing more than just ordinary schnapps – they focus on the pleasure of high-quality fruit brandy. Hans Reisetbauer's leadership creed is a quality value: Quality creates friendship. Reisetbauer & Son Single Malt Whisky
This is a high-quality Austrian single malt. The bottle contents and label design come almost entirely from the Reisetbauer house, and each bottle is hand-filled, labelled, sealed, and packaged by hand. The raw material comes from summer-malted barley, and the responsibility for the raw material lies with Hansi Junior, who now runs and develops the family's farm. He has also expanded his knowledge through studies at the University of Vienna and brings more knowledge of agriculture and food economics into the business. An important part of the product is the transition to organic farming in the company. For aging, wooden casks are used, giving the whisky its distinctive character, and these wooden casks come from suppliers such as Velich, Gesellmann and Kracher. The aging time ranges from seven, twelve, fifteen, and up to twenty-one years.
X.O Weinbrand – Grüner Veltliner
X.O Weinbrand – Grüner Veltliner is a new premium Edelgetränk created through a collaboration between Bernhard Ott and Hans Reisetbauer. The Grüner Veltliner grapes are aged in oak, and the final Weinbrand is produced and bottled. It was described by Paula Bosch, who characterized the aroma as complex and the texture as a dense, silky experience.
Brandstatt Edition
The Brandstatt Edition is introduced by Hansi Reisetbauer Junior and adds a new element to the Reisetbauer Edelbrand range. The edition appeals to both experienced Edelbrand lovers and newcomers to fine distilleries. The credo is: pure schnapps from the best fruits. Paula Bosch has also praised Brandstatt Edition in her selection and recommends it as an exciting choice.
