History
Distillerie de Paris is a distillery in the heart of Paris, where they produce spirits in their own distillery right in the middle of the city. They describe themselves as the first distillery in Paris, and Nicolas and Sébastien Julhès have united their palate-driven culinary experience and their passion for spirits to realize their dream: to have the heart beating in an alembic in the heart of the capital. According to the site they produce inspired spirits, and they have a shop in Paris. They also emphasize that they combine trends, culture and the creative energy of Paris to express the city's spirit in their products. The products range from gin and flavoured vodka to brandy, spirits aged under three years, and soon whisky as well as liqueurs and rums, with limited editions released.
Production / Manufacturing
They make their spirits in the distillery in Paris – in the heart of the city – using high-quality ingredients and traditional methods. They describe themselves as creator spirits and emphasize attention to detail and high-quality ingredients. For example, filtration techniques include gas-phase filtration of the Carbone vodka and water reduction during distillation to achieve a purer distillate with no heads or tails. The range includes gin (e.g., BATCH #1, Bel Air, Tonik), flavoured vodka (e.g., INDIA), Carbone vodka, as well as Panela rum and liqueurs. It is also mentioned that they regularly launch limited editions and exclusive products. The whisky line is described as forthcoming, but there is a Whisky – SINGLE MALT – that is already marketed.
Whisky Series
Whisky – SINGLE MALT
