History
Whiskey Acres Distilling Co. is described as a seed-to-spirit distillery in the Chicago area. The company is run by a fifth-generation farming family behind the entire chain from planting to spirits. The grains are grown on the finest soils, and the water is naturally filtered through a limestone aquifer deep underground. Distillation is performed by hand by the same hands that have tended the land and ingredients for generations. Equipment and know-how are forged in the rolling hills of Kentucky, and patience is valued. The distillation takes place year-round, and the company is open to the public every Friday through Sunday.
