About the release
Description
The new Islay Single Malt is the second release in the Strong Characters series and honors Dugald Johnston, son of co-founder Donald Johnston. The whisky has matured for 35 years solely in American ex-bourbon casks, is bottled at 43.8% and is limited to 5,500 bottles. Laphroaig announced it on August 20; the release received new industry coverage August 27.
