In 2025 The Danish Rum and Whisky Festival will be held again at Frederiks and Alhedehallerne. It will take place

Once you've paid your admission ticket, you'll have access to more than 500 free samples, including rum, whisky, port, cognac, armagnac, absinthe, pastis, grappa, gin and a surprise or two. In addition, there is an option to purchase extra tastings of more than 100 products.

Our festival is based on the producers of the products being present to enrich you and all other guests with their specific specialties — and they will be there again in 2025, which means the best possible conditions for a great festival experience are in place for you.

Denmark's largest whisky event - which takes place once a year with visits from foreign distillery managers and whisky personalities.

After just two years, the Thy Whisky Festival has already become an established tradition. 500 good friends, 15 of the best Danish and international distilleries and breweries, creative workshops and the coziest whisky tasting of the year around the campfire.

An evening with Laphroaig in absolute world-class form
There are tastings… and then there are experiences you remember for the rest of your life.

This evening Vault of Spirits invites you to an exclusive Laphroaig tasting at Dokk9 in Holbæk, where we will be joined by none other than Laphroaig’s Global Brand Ambassador, Teddy Joseph. It’s a rare opportunity to experience one of the whisky world’s most iconic distilleries as told by a man who knows the history, the people and the whisky better than most.

The tasting will primarily be in English, and along the way we will be guided through a number of exceptional bottlings – from more recent favorites to older, highly sought-after releases that few ever get to taste side by side.

To complete the experience, light sharing-style dishes will be served during the event, so both your palate and your stomach are pampered.

Meet Peter Kjær, the man behind the long-awaited Kruts Karport, the books "Skotsk Whisky - uden farve, uden filter" and "Irsk Whiskey", and countless lectures around Denmark. Peter has worked with whisky for decades, and at this tasting he will share stories from his personal whisky history, with a focus on Irish whiskey.

Join us for an evening exploring two very different Scottish distilleries, each with its own story, character and approach to whisky.
In 2025, Glencadam in the Eastern Highlands celebrated its 200th anniversary – and marked the occasion by opening a brand-new visitor centre in Brechin. Two centuries of whisky-making is quite a story, and we’ll be diving into it through a selection of their distinctive single malts.
Our second stop is Tomintoul, nestled inside the spectacular Cairngorms National Park in Speyside. The distillery has been producing whisky since 1965, earning its reputation for elegant, approachable malts – affectionately known as “The Gentle Dram.”
Guiding us through the evening is Gabriele Trucionyte, Brand Ambassador for both distilleries. Gabriele will take us behind the bottles and share stories about the heritage of the distilleries, the landscapes that surround them, and, most importantly, the people who create the whisky.

After six years of dedication, the wait is finally over.

For six years we have distilled, aged and refined our whisky. Now the time has come to open the bottles and share the result with the rest of the world. Therefore we invite you to the launch of Radius Distillery Whisky.

Come and experience the whole journey – from the first ideas and the first distillation to the whisky we have today.

Program

16.00 – Arrival at the Main Building

We meet at the Main Building, Oremandsgaard Allé 1.

16.15 – The whisky and the ideas behind it

Kristian Larsen will talk for 20 minutes about the whisky – and about why it turned out the way it did.

16.35 – Tasting in the lounges and the library

We'll hang out in the lounges and the library and taste the whiskies both at cask strength and the bottling strength we've chosen.

17.30 – Over to the distillery

We walk the 200 meters over to the distillery, where wagyu sausages made from the estate's own meat will be served.

18.00 – The cask loft

In smaller groups we'll go up to the cask loft and taste selected casks – whisky that has not yet been bottled.

19.00 – Thank you for coming

You can, of course, buy a bottle to take home that day.
