Company History

  • Founded in 1870 by BODEGAS Y DESTILERÍAS LEHMANN S.A. as a family distillery in Spain.

  • Second generation: Ismael Curto Curto, who began in 1890 the process of elaboration and aging of our brandies based on soleras, and managed to develop two style directions:

  • LEHMANN: aged in American oak from Pennsylvania, characterized as more elegant and creamy.

  • CURTO: aged in French Limousin oak casks, representing great personality and character.

Production Details

  • Extensive portfolio of spirits outside whisky: absinthe, aguardientes, brandy, cremas, liqueurs, orujos, vermouth, gin, rum, wine and of course whisky.

  • Absinthe: maceration of wormwood and distillation of licorice elements; traditionally enjoyed with Absinthe Ritual.
