History

The Begemann Distillery is located in North Rhine-Westphalia and was established in 2016. The owner is Roeland Haverkamp Begemann. For centuries the Begemann family has cultivated the fields and meadows in the region, and the lineage can be traced back to 1284 in the Bega Valley. According to legend, Hanns Begemann built in 1535 the thatched timber barn, which today houses the distillery and the catering division. Begatal Distillery was founded in 2016. For exceptional spirits such as the aromatic raspberry spirit and gin 'Be Gin Man', only the finest regional ingredients from Lipperland are selected. Brand Name: Eichenschild Single Malt Whisky.
