History
Building a multi-pronged offering
BTN has developed a combination of an online B2B marketplace, organized tradeshows and competitions, supplemented by media activations such as e-magazines, YouTube channels and podcasts. The site presents statistics on community size and activity and shows testimonials from brands and distributors that have worked with BTN.
Arranging trade fairs and industry events
The organization arranges international fairs and events such as the International Bulk Wine & Spirits Show (San Francisco and the UK) and USA Trade Tasting, which connect suppliers with buyers and help brands expand distribution.
Establishing competitions and ratings
BTN runs a number of competitions and ratings (e.g., USA Wine Ratings, USA Spirits Ratings, London Wine Competition and London Spirits Competition) with the aim of creating benchmarks and increasing visibility for participating producers.
