Seven Three Distilling Company is a small-batch distillery in the heart of New Orleans, founded in 2016. History
Founded in 2016 by Jeff and Mary Anna Rogers, Seven Three has grown into a local player with roots in New Orleans and the surrounding region. The concept was created to celebrate the city's 73 distinct neighborhoods, and the naming of the products reflects this idea. Over time, the distillery has expanded its range to include gin, vodka, rum, moonshine, and several bourbon and whiskey releases. In 2024, Black Pearl Rum in particular gained national attention after visitor and review coverage, and in the same year they opened their doors to study visits and actively participated in local events and festivals, where production, aging, and blending were demonstrated for students and the public.
Raw Materials and Production
Seven Three produces in small batches with a focus on locally sourced Louisiana ingredients. The range includes gin, vodka, rum, moonshine, bourbon, and whiskey, and the production is led by head distiller Luka Čutura with assistance from master blender Nancy Fraley. A central technical element in the process is the use of a hybrid Figgins Reciprocating Still, which is noted as a special part of the equipment. Visit the Distillery
The distillery is open daily 11:30–18:30 and offers tours and tastings. Bookings are handled via a dedicated tours email (tours@seventhreedistilling.com) and general contact via phone or info@-posten. There is also a members club, which provides unlimited access to tours and tastings for the member plus one guest, two free drinks per month, as well as 20% off purchases and early access to distillery-only releases. The distillery also participates in offsite events and local festivals.
