Rising Sun Distillery was established in 2015 in the heart of Denver by Dawn and Sol Richardson. The owners are described as descendants of bootleggers and distill new flavor experiences with a focus on craftsmanship and Western terroir. The distillery has earned recognition for its award-winning products, including Lavender Hibiscus Liqueur, Vodka, Colorado Chili Liqueur and Colorado Peach Brandy.
